Here I am in front of «The portrait of Lafcadio Hearn», an artwork of mine which I made last year in the memory of the great and beloved writer. It is the first of a series of artworks I am working this period inspired from Lafcadio. Since I met him, Lafcadio has been for me a fountain of inspiration.
Maybe it's too early to say for sure if I approach Lafcadio through art or if I approach art through Lafcadio. I have a lot of penciling and inking ahead.
One thing I can say for sure is that Lafcadio Hearn made me a better person. 110 years after his death, he still is a great teacher.
